If you follow the news it may feel like the sky is falling: nonstop stories of storms, droughts, fires, floods, heat waves, record cold snaps. The world seems out of control! What can you do? You can do many things. You can: Take a walk in a Park, Plant a tree, Make a rain garden, turn some of your Lawn into Garden. AND YOU CAN VOLUNTEER. You can volunteer in a nearby local, state and national park. (See the Links below.) And you can join in the many efforts in our local community to plant trees and create healthy forested areas.
If you wish to signup to help with the ongoing local efforts to improve our world, please click on this link to provide your name and email address to the Washington Couny Forestry Board. We will use your information only to send an email in advance of an event. You may unsubscribe at any time.
